OPEN CALL: Artist Residency 2026 for Armenian Women Photographers

April 14, 2026

We are officially opening the call for applications to the 2026 Residency Program, an exclusive opportunity for Armenian women photographers based in Armenia. Taking place in September 2026, this initiative reflects IWPA’s ongoing commitment to supporting women artists and amplifying diverse voices across borders.

Five selected photographers will be invited to Paris for a one-month residency at the renowned International Centre – Les Récollets. For this residency, we encourage applicants to engage with powerful and universal themes such as memory, migration, and social change

This program offers mentorship sessions and networking with recognised curators and photo editors,  access to Paris-based cultural resources, a dedicated time and space for research and artistic development within a collaborative, cross-cultural environment

Open Call: April 14, 2026 – May 17, 2026 (23:59, Paris time)

The open call is accessible to all Armenian women photographers residing in Armenia, whether emerging or established, amateur or professional.
